OUR MiSSIOn

At Wilhelmina Wares, we celebrate the spirit of the home. So we seek to elevate sense of place with cozy, traditionally crafted, and sustainable goods that inspire warmth and comfort wherever you rest your head. That’s what drives us to hand-stitch ultra-soft pillow covers using remnant sheepskin sourced directly from independent herders and textile manufacturers around the world. Instead of ending up on the scrap heap, we take their discarded fur and transform it into beautiful, intentionally-made heirlooms - functional works of art - that make your home truly feel like home.

  • Responsibly Reclaimed

We believe in second chances. That’s why we insist on quilting our pillow covers with 100% reclaimed sheepskin, elevating pristine discarded fur to a higher purpose wherever you rest your head.

  • Meticulously Hand Made

We measure twice and cut once. Each pillow cover is carefully designed, cut, and stitched - from front to back - by deft hands in the comfort of our home in Northern New England.

  • Crafted for Comfort

We’re obsessed with form AND function. Our pillow covers aren’t just heirloom-quality pieces of art, they’re super comfy and designed for a lifetime of love and lounging in your home or office space.

Meet your maker

Wilhelmina Wares was founded in the fall of 2021 by Brianna Bickley, a dyed-in-the-wool fiber fanatic with a passion for traditional handcrafting and a deep appreciation for all things naturally warm and comfortable.

Drawing inspiration from her Norwegian heritage and the Nordic concept hygge, Brianna designs and crafts every Wilhelmina pillow cover from scratch in the heart of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. She named her brand in honor of her great grandmother, Wilhelmina Haug, who immigrated to the United States from Norway in 1930.
